When walnuts and dates are in abundance, like in Morocco, you will want to find some recipes to accommodate. This one has no added sugar and is rather delicious. This recipe couldn't be easier to make.

 1 cup dates
 1 cup walnuts
 ½ cup coconut
 sea salt
 3 tsp coconut oil (or half and half with argan oil)
 ½ tsp vanilla essence

Put all ingredients into a food processor and blend until combined.

Roll into small balls and put in the fridge for one hour to cool. (Or you can taste immediately as we do.)

You could also roll these balls in some good quality Dutch cocoa or some coconut.
